Tarte flambée, Alsatian cream and bacon flatbread
Paper-thin and crackling at the edges, this Alsatian tart topped with cream, onions, and bacon is rustic, rich, and utterly addictive.

Combine the flour, water, oil, and salt to form a supple dough. Knead for 5 minutes, then let it rest for 20 minutes.
